AI Sports: MLB

AI Sports: MLB (“the app”) provides Major League Baseball information and analysis. You can use the app without creating an account. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS and Android applications. It is designed to comply with the Apple App Store’s privacy requirements and applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA).

1. Data controller

The app is operated by the AI Sports: MLB team. For privacy-related requests, contact us at mlb.aisports@gmail.com (please include “Privacy” in the subject when possible).

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the app, show ads (where applicable), and improve the service:

Device identifiers: On iOS we may use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) only if you accept the App Tracking Transparency prompt. On Android, ad-related identifiers may be used. These support personalized ads and subscription handling.
Usage and technical data: App interactions, device model, OS version, and crash reports to improve stability and performance.
Push notification token: To send you notifications (e.g. game reminders) via Firebase Cloud Messaging when you have granted permission. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
Data stored on your device: Preferences (e.g. premium status) and cached content are stored locally. They are not sent to our servers except as needed for purchases or support.

3. How we use your information

We use the data above to: provide and improve the app; deliver relevant ads when you have consented; process in-app purchases and subscriptions; send push notifications when permitted; and analyze crashes and usage to fix bugs and improve performance. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Advertising and location

We use Google AdMob to show ads and keep the app free. Ads may be personalized based on your interests when permitted (e.g. after you accept tracking on iOS).

We do not access your device’s precise location (GPS). We do not request location permission on Android or iOS. AdMob may use your IP address to infer an approximate location (e.g. country or region) for ad relevance. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (“Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS, “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).

5. Third-party services

We rely on the following types of providers, each with their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob: Ad delivery and measurement. See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob program policies.
Google Firebase: Crash reporting (Crashlytics), push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), analytics, and related services. Data is processed according to Google’s policies.
Apple App Store / Google Play: In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive only transaction identifiers and subscription status, not your payment details.

6. Data retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us (see section 8).

7. Your rights

We do not sell your personal data. Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/EEA under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have the right to: access your data; correct inaccuracies; request deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and, where required, notify you through the app or by email. The “Last updated” date below indicates when the policy was last revised.

10. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
